On October 23, 2019, the "2019 Qianjiang Forum of Organosilicon and Chemistry and Materials Sub-Forum of Global Outstanding Young Scholars Forum", sponsored by the Key Laboratory of Organosilicication and Materials Technology of Ministry of Education, Hangzhou Normal University, was held in Cangqian Campus of Hangzhou Normal University. More than 250 representatives, including experts and scholars from well-known universities in China, faculty and staff of the university, teachers and students, participated in the forum. This conference is supported by the Scientific Research Institute of Hangzhou Normal University.

The Director of the SILICONE Laboratory Xu Sullivan presided over the opening ceremony, the director of the academic committee of the laboratory Academician Zhao Yufen delivered a speech, she fully affirmed the laboratory's contribution in the field of silicone, and wish Qianjiang Forum held successfully. She hopes that the laboratory will always adhere to the forefront of research in the field of silicone and play a leading role in the industry.

There will be 11 specially invited speakers at this forum. Among the special speakers are Che Shunai from Tongji University and Cheuk-wai from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore So; Deng Liang, Shanghai Organic Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Du Haifeng, Chemistry Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Zhang Wenbin, Peking University; MasahiroMurakami, Kyoto University, Japan; Cui Chunming, Nankai University; Wang Yong, Ningbo University; Zuo Zhiwei, Shanghai University of Science and Technology; Jiang Xuefeng, East China Normal University; Zhang Junping, Lanzhou Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Lu Tianyao, Xu Sullivan, Wu Lianbin and Li Ze from the silicone laboratory also made wonderful reports.
